MSM rallies in support of Bush's blind spot
LGF posts a report on yesterday's Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing "Saudi Arabia: Friend or Foe in the War on Terror?".
I thought it odd that LGF would pull the report from DefenseNews.com rather than one of what I thought would be a rather ample supply of news reports. I wondered what the take from other news organizations would be, so I googled "Senate Judicary Committee" +Shea, then substituted the names of others testifying.
Other than the Financial Times, (VOA did did come up but that's hardly in the MSM category here) but nothing, nada. While the FT did cover it myopically, I think this line bespeaks of the general attitude of the MSM:
More: If you are interested, you can listen to the hearing, here.
Update: Here's Frank Gaffney's column from the 24 October discussing the importance of the issue of Saudi funding of terror and extremism, an importance backed up by reporting in the end of this post by Bill Roggio.
BTW, added the FT link, above, that was left out earlier.

Statements by both Republican and Democratic senators on the judiciary committee revealed how deep-seated misgivings in the US towards Saudi Arabia since the September 11 2001 attacks by al-Qaeda have been barely moderated by the kingdom’s subsequent co-operation against terrorism.Maybe tomorrow they'll report something.
