Iranians prove themselves irrational

Let's recap the last week and a half, first. Kerry again suggests his uranium lend-lease plan for Iran at the first debate. Per the NY Sun, Iran wastes no time in publicly laughing at it:
The spokesman for the foreign ministry in Tehran told reporters yesterday, "We have the technology and there is no need for us to beg from others." Entering such an agreement, the spokesman, Hamid Reza Asefi, said, would be "irrational."
Now that Edwards mentions it as a 'gotcha if you don't', Iran responds: (via Armed Prophet)
Iran would welcome a proposal by U.S. presidential candidate Senator John Kerry's running mate for a "great bargain" to solve the dispute over Tehran's nuclear program, a senior Iranian official said on Saturday.
All the more reason to re-elect Bush, IMHO.
