The Weekend Australian goes behind the scenes to provide a glimpse into the life of the Core-Group, created in response to the Boxing Day tsunami. A hat tip to EU Referendum who has a good post on it and several other subjects.

Update: While I am at it, I should mention Last of the Famous International Playboys (which I think I will henceforth dub LFIP) reports on broadcast by French 2 TV contrasting the responses by the US and France to the tsunami. It's really rather good, though I think it should have placed some of the emphasis on the Core-Group response instead of solely on the US.

Warning to the FBI: The pile of nickles to be found at the feet of Jacques Chirac should in no way indicate he had a hand in this.)
