Journalists tour Natanz nuclear facility
I saw the story about this on CBS news last night. It's unfortunate the US statement didn't take a more humorous tone in calling tour a "staged media event."
What are the odds any of those journalists have a clue as to what they were looking at when on the tour. And having Iranian President Khatami, himself, be the tour guide is kind of like having CFO Andrew Fastow showing a bunch of wide-eyed, first-year college accounting majors Enron's books on Shadow Day.
I would have loved to have heard the conversation when the PR guy broached this idea with Khatami. I wonder if Khatami realizes how foolish and small he looks to the world. It's certainly not a president of a high and mighty power that stoops to leading a tour routine on a serious issue.
Here's hoping Brain Droppings does a good photoshop and TFG provides the elections implications on this ridiculous stunt.
