Questions in connection with the Schiavo case ...
I have a couple of questions on what I suppose you could call definitions regarding the Schiavo case.
1) I can understand that permanent vegetative state does not fall within the medical classification of brain dead, but how far apart are the two with respect to brain function, to what degree and in how many ways can PVS differ?
2) Is a feeding tube not considered artificial life support?
I'll be looking but if anyone does encounter some form of answer, please let me know.
