Last Sunday, Dodd Harris announced he is retiring his blog, Ipse Dixit. It seems to me that it is not often that a Large Mammal leaves the pasture. Mr. Harris has reasons he doesn't cite, which intrigues me because he suggests that blogging about politics might better be done anonymously.

In any event, I wish Mr Harris luck and great fortune in alternative pursuits. I've been a reader of his blog for almost 2 years and will miss reading his works there.
